Personal Development Series
What is the Leadership 101 Series?
Leadership 101 is a series of FREE, one hour, leadership development workshops designed to provide individuals and organizations with the essentials for strengthening their leadership skills in order for each participant to become a better leader in the Appalachian community and in society. Registration for this series is not required, and students are welcome to attend as many workshops as they want.
Become a Leadership 101 Graduate
Every student who attends at least 7 of the 14 sessions/events will receive special recognition as a Leadership 101 Graduate. Sessions will be offered in the fall and spring semester. Graduates will have their participation added to their co-curricular transcript, will receive a certificate of participation, and individual recognition at the annual awards banquet. Each session is facilitated by a different faculty, staff, or student group that specializes in the topical area.
